How much time will this take?

The Octogram® test itself contains 36 questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete. As part of this study, you will actually be taking two tests. The second test will be used to “cross validate” your results. In total, you will spend less than one hour. This hour does not need to happen all at once, you can leave and return to the tests at any time if you are interrupted.

What results will I receive?

We will email a 4 page PDF report to you. This report includes a graphic as well as some text explaining what your score in each role means. This report is just a starting point, we will post new reference materials as they are available. There are now over 75 books in English dealing with the Competing Values Framework for further study.

How reliable are the results if you are “normalizing” the test?

The Octogram test itself has already been validated in English. In other words, your scores are measured correctly and your report will give you an accurate description of your styles. Normalizing means that we are now measuring how different types of people answer the test in English. This study is to help us identify functions/positions and industries, to get a picture of how, for example, small business owners answer the questionnaire as a group.

What's the catch?

There isn't one. We are asking you to spend an hour of your time as “payment” for this powerful report. Your anonymous information will be used to help us to improve the future results of the Octogram. After emailing your result PDF report, your name and email address are deleted from our database.

How quickly will I receive the results?

The PDF takes about 20 seconds to generate. In extremely high traffic situations you will receive your report via email within 10 minutes of completing the test.
