How much time will this take?

The Octogram® test itself contains 36 questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete. As part of this study, you will actually be taking two tests. The second test is an new instrument that we are currently researching. This second test can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour to fill in, depending on the type of instrument being researched. You can leave and return to the tests at any time if you are interrupted.

What results will I receive?

You will complete two tests, the Octogram and a test we are currently developing (which might be a different personality test or an intelligence test). We will email a PDF report to you detailing your results only on the Octogram test. This report includes a graphic as well as some text explaining what your score in each role means.

What's the catch?

There is no catch. We are asking you to spend an hour (or so) of your time as “payment”. Your anonymous information will be used to help us improve the future results of the Octogram and will be used to validate the second test you will be taking. Because the second test is still a work in progress, you will not receive a copy of the results for that test. After emailing your result PDF report, your name and email address are deleted from our database.

How quickly will I receive the results?

As soon as you complete your tests, a link will appear on the screen that will allow you to download a PDF file with your results.
